New Train

Nathan got a new Thomas train set yesterday, so before nap today he and Dustin set it up and played a while. Fun fun!

Best $3 I ever spent

We went to home depot last night to look for vent covers and came home with a sprinkler for Nathan. It is by far the best $3 I've ever spent. He had a ball!

Painting

Well I'm a few days behind already. So sorry. I did a little painting on Wednesday in Nathan's room. The painting is done, but the room is not. I think I will cut out some of the shapes from the extra border we have and put them on the wall above the border. We'll see how that looks. Here's a couple of pictures of how it looks so far:

The Simple Things

Happy Monday,

We've had a good day so far here at the Lafferty house. Nathan and I have been taking it easy today to recover from our busy weekend. I had a moment of inspiration and created a "sensory" box for Nathan this morning. I found some rice and pinto beans in my cabinet that had been there for who knows how long, so I put them together in a box. Nathan had a blast and played for probably an hour. It's the simple things...
