A little art project
The last couple of days have definitely been my best days since having the babies. I've felt so much more like myself, so I actually felt up to doing a little project with the boys again. We all had SO much fun with this one. It's a project we've done before. We mixed a tablespoon of flour, a tablespoon of salt, water, and some food coloring. After you paint on the cardboard, you put the picture in the microwave for 30 seconds. It makes the "paint" puff up. The boys love to stand on the kitchen stools and watch their pictures in the microwave.
Bless You
While laying here, Michael sneezed. Dear, sweet Connor said "bless you" several times and frantically looked for a kleenex for him. Here, he is wiping Michael's face with the kleenex. :)

To the Dr.
Michael and Anna had their one week dr's appointment this morning. Michael is now weighing 5lbs10oz and Anna weighs 5lbs1oz. They were both down an ounce or two since discharge from the hospital. Their temps were a little low, which the doc tells us is why they lost a little weight. So we've got the heat turned up and they're all snuggled up to keep those temps stable. Otherwise, they checked out great and don't have an "official" check up again until they're one month old. Although we go back Friday to check their weights again.
All strapped in ready to head to the dr!

Grandma and Grandpa
The boys are really enjoying having their Grandma here. Here they're helping her play Angry Birds
During a short visit from Grandpa this afternoon, Connor decided to "sleep" on him.

Going home
Today we got to come home :)
Some pictures from the day:
All ready to go!
Home at last
The nurses hooked us up with a small stash of formula :)
Bright eyed little miss Anna
No, you can't take my bottle!
Car seats
This is what it takes to get 35 week old babies to fit in a carseat. :)
They had to have a test done that checked their breathing and heart rates while in the seats. They both passed. They're such good little test takers already! :)
